My latest obsession and project. I have fallen in love with tiffany blue (or anything turquoiseish or minty), pink, flowers, and jars. Especially when combined.
Therefore I decided to do a little experimenting in my room.

Some of the best parts of being home:
A full refrigerator
Free rent
Sleeping in
Having time to read
Seeing family
Sleeping in a queen bed
Beautiful landscapes
Rainstorms
Yard sales
Driving
So glad to be home!

Hello Springtime.
It's been almost a year since I last wrote on here. A lot has happened since then: I went back and worked at Disney last summer, I was an EFY counselor (such an amazing experience that I'm doing it again), was reunited with old friends, started my junior year of college, was given another beautiful niece, was able to spend the holidays with my entire family and loved every second of it, started an internship, and visited Disney two more times (I'm addicted).
I wasn't sad to see 2011 go at all. I had lots of experiences and learned a lot about life and myself. Time to start looking forward.
Things I learned:
Family is everything.
Trust in the Lord's timetable.
Hot chocolate can always make me happy.
Nieces are the best.
Traveling is good for the soul..
Broken hearts hurt.
People change.
Small things matter.
Crying isn't always bad.
Sometimes you need help.
Brownies are always better with a surprise inside.
My parents are the best.
I'm a pro at crying in airports.
There is no 'pause' button in life.
:)
Today I wanted to think less about winter and more about spring (well actually summer, but I have to take it one step at a time). It was a gorgeous day in Utah, the sun was shining and the mountains were beautiful. I decided to crack some windows, get some fresh air, and decorate for spring. Have a look.

I'm excited to be going home this summer. It'll be the first time since I graduated high school that I will be home for longer than 3 weeks. Plus I'm hoping to spend some high quality time with my adorable new niece, Colbi Capri. Can't wait to meet her!

Little Things.
Just something I'm trying to work on.
I am going to try and enjoy the journey, especially the 'little things'
when the big things of the moment aren't going according to plan.

Baby Life.
I've been spending the past week in Alaska with my cute little niece and I have been
having a blast! I love all of the TINY pink clothes and all the cute hairbows. Sometimes
I feel like I'm dressing up a babydoll, I just wish I could still get away with wearing
ruffles on my butt and jean overall dresses cause they're just so cute and fun! Ailey
is the cutest baby in the world-- no if's, and's, or but's about it. I might just be a little
bit biased but most people would agree when I say that she's definitely a keeper :)
But I have come to the conclusion that babies have THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE.....
Reasons Why Babies Have Such A Beautiful Life:
Babies do not have to make their own food.
Babies do not have to pick out their own outfits.
Babies can sleep all day and people think it's just cute.
Babies can stay in their jammies all day... with no judgment from anyone.
Babies can make the slightest cry & servants run to their side to help.
Babies do not have to put forth effort into anything & yet everyone adores them.
Who wouldn't want this life?....
